- Riders shows in the schematic a '71 tube. The pictured tube layout quotes '71A and the year1924. That year is impossible since a '71 did not yet exist. On the other hand a '71 is likely: otherwise 180 V for plate and -40 V grid bias don't make sense. Rider is in error. Built-in loop as first tuned RF circuit.
