The MBM radio transmitter-receiver was manufacturered only in 1945 and was used in the Pacific theatre during WWII for coastwatching and forward operations. The MCM set consisted of a suitcase containing the unit, external 6 volt power supply with internal battery, and a hand-crank generator. It operated on 4 - 7.5 MHZ and 7.5 - 14 MHz.
