• Outdoor broadcast mixer for sports events etc.

  YLE had a long tradition of OB mixers (self-produced), since the Helsinki olympic games (1952). A new mixer was needed in the early 1980's and Kajaani was chosen to produce it according to YLE specifications.

  • 8 or 12 mono channels with 2 selectable inputs each
  • optional commentator's desk with individual monitor mixers and talkback
  • portable unit.

  Production started 1984 in Kajaani, product line was sold to Jutel Oy in 1987 and later moved to Jutron Oy 1991. production ended in late 1990's. Total production numbers unknown, more than 120 units.YLE phased out this mixer in the 2000' s and remaining units were sold in 2015-2016.
