  • This radio uses a single 28 pin Integrated Circuit which performs all am/fm radio functions. This is an analog device, no DSP. See SONY CXA1191s datasheet. The radio covers the Long wave band 150 - 260 KHz, AM BCB, FM BCB, and Short Wave coverage from 2 MHz to 26 MHz divided into 18 band segments, manually selected by using a combination of two three switches.
