The 110 "Universal Regenerative Receiver" works on a rather simple principle and the linked text "Regenerative Receiver and Amplifier" shows some details and the differences to other circuits for AM radio reception. The "Universal Regenerative Receiver" and the "220 Intermediate Wave Regenerative Receiver", both from Kennedy, have only the AF amplification of the audion. The posted Kennedy Type 110 schematic is for the late-1922 "St. Louis" version. The early Type 110 "San Francisco" versions had a Plate Potentiometer circuit so the detector plate voltage could be adjusted. This is probably why the feature was dropped when all Kennedy manufacturing was moved to St. Louis in mid-1922. Henry Rogers - Radio Boulevard, Western Historic Radio Museum has more detailed information on this model.
Early models made in San Francisco had a Weston model 301 ammeter to measure filament current. In later version this was changed to a voltmeter. In later versions an addition factory installed single wire rheostat was installed to help imporve filament control.
