Transformer-coupled pentode output valve. Full wave power rectifying valve. The price was £ 18.18.00 or in other words 18 Guineas. Since 1816 a Guinea was fixed at twenty-one shillings. Also available for 25 cycle mains (costs 12 shilling extra).
