There are 2 "Standard" models, both have a medium-toned walnut cabinet, black knobs, and short legs. They are available in 2 voltage versions, 888 suitable for 100-130 V and 888A suitable for 200-250 V.

Cabinet designed by British designer Betty Joel. Material is a light, polished walnut. Around the speaker opening are inlays of ebony. Knobs and dial window frame are black.
