    The visual differences between the WP21 and the WP21/L include, " Luxembourg " marked boldly on the lower half of the dial, and 2 small trimmer capacitors are mounted on the switch assembly.

    The KB service manual states; The difference between the WP2I and WP21/L versions of these models, are as follows:
    On the /L versions, the microphone amplifier is permanently connected to the input of the main amplifier and cannot be switched via the volume control by pressing the M.W. and L.W. buttons together.
    When the M.W. and L.W. buttons are pressed together on the /L versions, giving Luxembourg bandspread, T2, Cl, C2, T3 and C10 are switched into circuit, reducing the frequency range of the medium waveband circuitry.
