Portable record player fitted with Garrard BA1 45RPM 7 inch player. The cartridge is a Cosmocord GP69 crystal pick-up with a Cosmocord SK2 stylus.
The speed of the motor is adjusted by R1, a 100 ohm potentiometer. This adjustment is allowed to compensate for fall in battery voltage. The adjustment is aided with a stroboscopic disc (supplied) which should be used with a 50Hz AC lamp.
The speaker is 7 x 4 inches.
