Kriesler Model 41-27 "Playfellow"
Seven transistors, two diode B/C portable receiver housed in genuine leather saddle-stitched case with chromed diecast styled fascia. Available in black or tan.
Features: inbuilt Ferrite rod aerial and earth, provision for external earth and automobile aerial socket. Press-on dial light and battery condition check. 6" round speaker Tone control with negative feedback tone compensation. Vertical slow motion type dial covering all Australian B/C stations. Equipped with 9V Eveready Type 286 battery - smaller battery Types 2761 or 276P may be used as a substitute. Large size audio transformers for extra power and full tone.
A schematic was included, pasted to the inside of the case rear. For service, the leads were positioned and of sufficient length to allow the circuit board to released and pivoted to the left to allow access to the component side of the board.
