      Portable broadcast radio having six transistors, two diodes and extremely large ferrite rod aerial which contributes to the exceptional performance achieved by a set of this type. Housed in a moulded plastic polypropylene cabinet (cabinet guaranteed for three years against breaking under normal usage), with leather-grained, scuff resistant finish. Available in cherry red, charcoal brown, pale blue, dark blue.
      Features: on/off volume combined and station selector, dial scale calibrated in kC/s (kHz), earphone socket, nylon wrist-strap.
      Speaker: 2¼" round 8Ω; batteries, 3 x 1½V Eveready Type 1015 (AA) or equivalent.
