  • K.W. Electronics, Viceroy SSB Transmitter Mark IV;
    Coverage 10, 15, 20, 40 & 80 m band, VOX, X-tal controlled, built-in instrument, tube list probably uncomplete, 12 wire lead to external power supply.

    The K.W. Viceroy Mark IV is very similar to the Mark III, but incorporates an antenna change-over relay.

    Covers the 80m (3.5-4.0 MHz), 40m (7.0-7.3 MHz), 20m (14.0-14.5 MHz), 15m (21.0-21.5 MHz) and 10m (28.0-28.6 and 28.6-29.2 MHz) amateur bands in six ranges.

    Later Viceroy models have a blue front panel. It is not clear whether this change co-incided with the change from Mark III to Mark IV. A late-model Mark III might have a blue front panel, or an early Mark IV might have a silver front panel -- more information is required.

    Power output is 180 W PEP input on SSB, 150 W on C.W. and 90 W AM.
