  • The K.W. Viceroy Mark I covers 80m (3.5-4.0 MHz) LSB, 40m (7.0-7.3 MHz) USB, 20m (14.0-14.4 MHz) USB, 15m (21.0-21.4 MHz) USB and 10m (28.0-29.0 MHz) USB.

    Note that use of USB on 40 MHz is contrary to the ITU/CCIR recommendations. The Mark II and later models generate LSB on 40m.

    Early Mark I transmitters have the "pillar case" (pillars down the right and left hand side) but it's not clear whether the transition from pillar case to wrap-around case co-indiced with the change from Mark I to Mark II -- late model Mark I transmitters may have te wrap-around case.

    The Mark I has an external power supply which is roughly the same size as the main unit.
