- The Lafayette catalog calls this models A-38, A-39 or as chassis model A-33 and A-34 8 tube AC 3 band Superhet. The models have an Airplane type dial, 3-gang condenser, Automatic Volume Control (AVC) and tone control. Wave length is 18 - 50 m, 75 - 200 m and 200 - 550 m. There seems not to be a Rider's schematic. The models A-38 and A-33 (chassis) are the US version and the models A-39 and A-34 (chassis the version for European use with long meter band in place of 57 - 200 m band.
