- The catalog names this Lafayette model C-30 Trutest TRAVELER. The C-30 is a 4 tube AC/DC TRF with direct drive type dial without illuminated scale. The catalog lists 5 tubes but the 50X3 is only a ballast tube which we don't count. Only the model C-18 is cheaper - just by 5 cents ... Rider's does not show a schematic for the Lafayette C-30.
