The Lafayette HE-60 was advertised in the 1963 annual Lafayette catalog and its 1963-1,2,4 and 6 flyer catalogs. Its three tubes and diode detector made a very compact and efficient BC-SW multi-band shortwave listener set for AM and CW. The price dropped from $39.95 to $29.95 with "quantities limited" in the 1963-6 flyer catalog.
