- This "Meissner" Kit from Lafayette covers the frequency range from 132kHz to 42.3 MHz in five overlapping bands. A special push-butten control unit allows for selection of 7 permeability preset stations. Output stage is of push-pull design with beam power tubes. A separate Tuning eye indicator was available with a 6G5 tube. The tuning unit with push buttons and a 6A7 tube was also available for feeding into a separate IF-amplifier unit. Dimensions given above are with the cabinet of the push-button tuning kit.
