- Notes
- The Rider's Perpetual vol. 11 from 1940 shows Lafayette models L-22 and L-23 for the same schematic. The Lafayette catalog no. 55 for 1934 shows only model L-22, not model L-23. Are those from the catalog before or is L-23 just not listed? The Lafayette "Complete all-electric auto radio" has a 3 gang variable condenser, AVC, only 4.85 Amp. drain and is called "single unit construction" - because the loudspeaker is integrated and only the control panel is separate. The catalog writes about 7 tuned circuits but the last filter has no condenser.
The model L-22 is listed at $ 79.50 with tubes, distributor, suppressor and condenser and Remote Control. The the Lafayette price is $ 34.50. We don't know the difference to model L-23 yet - and leave the same dates on the model as for L-22. See details for the models of this catalog.
