- The Lafayette 28 Watt Output Class "B" Amplifier P15760 und P15757 bring peak 32 watts, direct coupled driver. Lafayette describes a lot - see picture. Here only for possible retrieval or statistics: "Hight Gain: Technically, the characteristics of this amplifier are as follows: It has a gain of 83 dB at 1000 cycles, is only minus 3 dB at 50 cycles and actually rises to plus 2 dB at 5000 cycles above the overall gain of 83 dB. Input impedence 0.5 MOhms, output impedance 4, 8, 15, 500 and 2000 Ohms. ... a tube 59 drives a pair of 59's." The model P15763 is the same but called "Special Theater model, Sound on Film General Purpose Amplifier" because of additions like a furnishing of fully adjustable polarization voltage for two photo-electric cells, changeover switch, current supplied for two excciter lamps, etc.
