  • Notes
  • The Lokata SRX is a double conversion unit with a 455 kHz 2nd I.F. Plessey SL6440 high level Gilbert Cell mixers are used for the 1st and 2nd mixers.

A die cast aluminum housing is used, similar to the SSB Rx. This is a general coverage unit that covers from 100 kHz to 30 MHz, plus the 88 to 108 MHz FM band. Diode switched RF bandpass filters are used ahead of the 1st mixer to provide good out of band rejection.

This receiver does not have an internal speaker. A companion DF antenna can be used. Also a high impedance antenna input is provided for a long wire connection.
