Lowther-Hegeman cabinet with PM4 Drive Unit.
This speaker resulted from a collaboration between the American Stuart Hegeman and Donald Chave of Lowther.
It incorporated the PM4 drive unit fitted inside a large horizontal plaster horn, giving an amazingly wide dispersion of mid and treble frequencies.
At the time it was 3 times the price of the Lowther Voigt domestic corner horn.
It stood 50” high including legs and weighed 260 pounds approximately.
- Price in first year of sale
