  • Lowther Radiogram, Model D

    This model was the smallest Radiogram in the 1936-37 range.

    The 2 HF radio unit and 5-watt amplifier are housed in a cabinet of pleasing lines as Model C, together with a loudspeaker of high efficiency, in the right-hand compartment.

    Both radio and record reproduction are as good as can be obtained from a flat baffle-loaded speaker.

    The BTS tuning unit can be fitted at no extra cost for those desiring greater selectively and range than our 2 HF unit can provide, for use in outlying districts not served by a "Local" Station.

    The radiogram was comprised of;

    • BT2: 2 HF Radio Unit.
    • B5: 5 watt Amplifier.
    • V Type: rectifier unit
    • Cabinet: In Oak or Walnut.
    • Whistle and Scratch filter.
    • Speaker: Energised moving coil loudspeaker on a flat baffle.
    • Player: Garrard motor unit.
