  • Notes
  • A unique design for Magnatone, a power head and separate speaker cabinet.  This is a two channel bass amp with volume and tone controls for each channel.  The speaker cabinet had 4 - 10 inch 8 ohm PM speakers.  This early design in electronic design is very much like the Fender designs that came to rule the music scene about 5 years later.

This power head is unusual in it's dimensions, as it is a low, flat box with the controls on top.  The top face measures 11 inches deep by 26 inches wide, and has all the input jacks, power switching, audio controls, etc.  This unit is only 6 inches high and weighs 12 pounds.  The overall dimensions of the amp are noted in the dimension line.
