The Magnavox model R-3 uses an electrodynamic system. Straight neck horn. This 14-inch horn is featured in an add in "Radio World" 28th October 1922. It is also listed on a price list of March 17, 1922, together with R-2. The name is "Magnavox Train Dispatching Units" and it offers also Rectigon Material. An other price list of April 10, 1922 has Detector and One Stage Amplifier for $ 35, Two Stage Amplifier for $ 35, Detector and Tow Stage Amplifier Non-filament control for $ 45 and with full filament control for $ 55.
