A demodulator which reproduces discrete 4-channel sounds from CD-4 records. It is connected between a stereo record player fitted with a CD-4 cartridge and a 4-channel preamplifier. Another CD-4 source such as a 4 channel tape deck can be also be connected. With push buttons switches for Selector (Phono, Aux) and Mode (2 Channel, 4 Channel Auto) and a 'Radar' indicator which is lit when a CD-4 record is playing. On the back, RCA phono sockets for Phono Left & Right input, for Aux input Front and Rear Left and Right input (connected direct to the 4 channel output), for 2 channel Direct Output, and for 4 channel Front and Rear Left and Right Output, and Right and Left rotary Separation controls. A calibration record is supplied for adjusting the right and left separations.
