  • Notes
  • AM/FM synthesised signal generator 2019.

    The 2018 covers the frequency range of 80 kHz to 520 MHz. 2019 includes a frequency doubler which increases the frequency range to 1040 MHz. Both are phase-locked to a frequency standard and can be set to a resolution of 10 Hz at frequencies up to 520 MHz, and in the case of 2019 resolution of 20 Hz for frequencies above 520 MHz.

    • Modulation types: AM, FM.
    • Output level: adjustable from -127 dBm to +13 dBm with a resolution of 0.1 dBm.
    • Sideband phase noise: < -130 dBc/Hz at 90 MHz and 20 kHz carrier spacing;
    • Adjustable modulation frequencies: 300, 400 Hz, 1, 3, 6 kHz.
    • Output level accuracy: +/- 1dBm from 80 kHz to 520 MHz,                                         +/- 2dBm from 520  to 1040 MHz.
    • VSWR: < 1.2 :1 up to 520MHz, < 1.5:1 from 520 to 1040 MHz.

    See later version 2019A with Phase and Pulse modulation.
