- The Marconiphone T24DAB was released in August 1950 and it appeared in sales adverts in February 1951 and September 1951. Our schematics show an X17 as the first valve but there may be some later models with an X18. The original listing was also X17, W17, ZD17 and N18. The original retail price excluding purchase tax and batteries was £13 8s 6d. Line power is AC/DC, batteries are a B126 (Ever Ready 90V HT) and 5 x U2 (7.5V LT).
