  • The function of the choke coil, is to prevent the high frequency condenser discharge current from surging back into the low frequency circuit, without interferring in any way with the low frequency condenser charging circuit.

    Used in the Marconi 1 1/2 K.W. Plain Discharger ship transmitting set.
