  • The Marconi Model 233 is a battery operated 7 Tube BC/SW Receiver.
    BC Band Tuning Range: 540 to 1720kHz.
    SW1 (Day)Band Tuning Range: 5.9 to 10.2MHz.
    SW2 (Night)Band Tuning Range: 10.2 to 18.2MHz.
    The two output tubes in the last audio stage are connected in parallel. Has Economizer switch to save battery power, which reduces output from 0.5 to 0.25 watts by disconnecting one of the two output tubes. Marconi Model 270 uses the same chassis and schematic.
