National RQ112 Tape Recorder
Fully transistorised two-speed tape recorder which operates on 12 x 1.5V (6 for motor & 6 for amplifier) penlight dry cells. One lever control and recording level indicator.
Two tape speeds are available by changing capstan diameter. Tape speeds: 3¾ ips - 2 x 15 min. playing time, 1⅞ ips - 2 x 30 min. playing time. Rewinds in less than than three minutes. Frequency response 5,000 C/s (hz).
Complete with 1 x 3" tape, 1 x 3" empty spool, one crystal microphone, one earphone, one connector cable, one reel splicing tape and leather case.
Optional extras: RF-961 telephone pick-up, RF-921 foot switch, RF-931 AC adaptor to 230-240V., RT-30 silver tape 300 ft 3" reel.
This model sold in Australia between 1961 & 1963 for £75/12/-.
