  • See also the revised 854A (lower power consumption), perhaps following year, different circuit as well as series AC/DC tubes/valves and operation (100mA heaters). Unusually this model though all 6.3V types apart from PY82 rectifier is series connected heaters (300mA), prossibly because the 113 (same chassis) is used in CR53 and CR317 TV models.

    The three pilot/scale lamp/bulbs are 300mA types in series betweeen chassis and mains supply, so even if "neutral" is to the pilot lamps and "live" to dropper resistor/PY82 the chassis is live if a lamp fails.

    Transformer isolated external speaker socket but Aerial and Earth sockets are only capacitor isolated from live mains so should be safety Y2 types.
