4 bands. 3 intermediate freqency amplifier stages. Schematic dated Jan. 17, 1934.
The second variant of the Masterpiece II replaces the 56 audio driver tube with a 53-tube, wired as a dual-triode (both triodes in the tube are used), which is touted as making the 'new and improved' tone control circuit possible. The 3-tube power amplifier chassis has only one choke mounted on it, and is referred to as the "short amp" by collectors.
