    The third variant of the Masterpiece II uses the same tube lineup as the 2nd variant.  The audio driver circuit with the 53-tube has been modified, and is now wired as a single triode (only one half of the tube is used).  This receiver is referred to in The Silver Times, Vol. 2 No. 6, July, 1934, as "The 1935 Masterpiece II."  The amplifier is the same "short amp" with one choke as used with Variant 2.  All three variants have been found in the field.

    Dimensions and weight are listed as follows:  Tuner 19"W x 8.5"H x 10.5"D.  Power amplifier 13.25"W x 7"H x 5"D.  Giant Speaker 13.75"W x 13.75"H x 8"D.  Ortho-dynamic speaker 12"W x 12"H x 7"D.  Weight packed export, 158 lbs.
