  • A stereo hi-fi preamplifier for use with a stereo power amplifier or a pair of mono power amplifiers, ideally the Meridian 205 Mono Power Amplifiers. Optional operation by the  Meridian 209 Master Control. On the rear, RCA input sockets for LP, Video, Radio, CD, 2 Tapes, RCA output sockets for 2 Tapes and Line Output, a jack for headphones and a Power On/Off switch. The DIN socket marked '200 Comms' is for interconnecting a P-lead when the installation includes a Meridian 207 Compact Disc Player, or a Q-lead if there is a Meridian 204 AM/FM Stereo Tuner-Timer in which case the P-lead will go between the 207 and 204. On the front, press buttons for CD, Radio, LP, Tape 1, Mute, Standby, Mode, Video, Tape 2, System 2, Copy and volume up and down.
