The Midland 22-104 is a dual crystal microphone from the early 1960's. It was produced by Japanese manufacturers and designed to look like a smaller version of the iconic high quality RCA 77 series microphones. Construction is metal and chromed plastic. Similar microphones produced in Japan were exported with custom brand names such as Calrad, Akrad (M-102), Lafayette (PA-17), Crown (MC-80) and others. Dimensions include the screw-on clamp portion. The pill shape is approximately 2 1/4 inches in diameter and 6 inches long.
