A modified version of the R1155A model, produced for use in Coastal Command aircraft with D/F facilities on range 1. Modified for HF. Required an additional special loop aerial and embodied a dummy circuit for ranges 1 and 2 in addition to the L1 and C99 combinations used in the other ranges. This required alterations to the switching circuits.
