- Communications receiver covering 550 kHz - 23 MHz in six bands (550-1000 kHz, 1-1,9 / 1,9-3,6 / 3,6-7 / 7-13 / 13-23 MHz), AM, CW (BFO).
One of the earliest sets incorporating superheterodyne reception in the Royal Navy: A stage of RF-amplification, mixing with signal of first heterodyne oscillator, stage of IF amplification, detection and AF amplification, a second oscillator is used for CW/A1 reception, thus acting as BFO.
