Wireless Set No. 88 AFV was a VHF FM set developed for communication between AFV's and infantry equipped with Wireless Set No. 88 type A. It was basically a standard infantry Wireless Set No. 88 type A with minor changes, powered from the vehicle battery via Power Supply and LF Amplifier Unit No. 2. It was incorporated in the existing No. 19 Set control harness.
The set operated on four fixed crystal controlled channels around 41MHz.
