- FM-Transceiver for field use, range 20-28 MHz, VFO-tuning, output abt. 1 watt VHF. Needs handset H-33*/PT, battery BA-279, battery case CY-744, carrying harness ST-120, antenna AT-271 or AT-272, antenna & accessoires bag CW-216. Different manufacturers in the US, Germany and other countries. Widely used in Korea and Vietnam. One of the first "man-packs" in the new German army of the late fifties (Bundeswehr)PRC-10-GY variant, made by Siemens. Now to be used as a Citizen-band receiver. Hams Need the PRC-9 for the FM-segment in the 10 meter band, or the PRC-10 for the 6 meter band. Each tube-code listed once. Different to the RT-174A variant is the raised left part of the control-panel; inside there is a fifth IF-amplifier, no pulse sweep generator, a 1 MHz crystal calibrator stage, and a driver stage in the transmitter part.

das sprechfunkgerät prc-8 unterscheidet sich nur durch die frequenz vov prc-9,prc10.
