- Notes
- The R-101A receiver is part of the airborne radio compass AN/ARN-6. The receiver covers from 100 to 1750 kHz in four bands. Single conversion, two IF frequencies, 455 and 142,5 kHz, depending upon the selected band. Commands are external, in C-149A, C403A or C-1514A control box. The tubes operate directly with 26,5 Volts anode voltage. The 455 kHz IF is in use only in the 100-200 kHz-range. The receiver fits into a mounting with some 20 connector-pins at the back.
