According to the Swackhammer book, (pages 67, 68 and 77 the Mohawk company set up operation in New Toronto in 1928 and made radios out of their factory there. They brought with them the Lyric line of radios which appear to be mostly tabletop radios. The cabinets were made in Woodstock, Ontario by Thomas. This example is a very nice consul model with good lines and elegant styling. It probably dates from the early 1930s.
