This model is most likely technically identical to model Monarch SA-40A but has "SA-40" printed on the front.
The user manual and schematics for model SA-40A have the "A" added by stamp. The technical differences between SA-40A and SA-40 are currently not known.
This model was sold in Europe by the Dutch company Kontakt as model Kontakt SA-40, modified for 220 V mains.
