Monitoradio model AR-1 is an AC-DC operated high frequency FM superheterodyne receiver. FM only; VHF 108-136 Mc = Air Band; Squelch; All models AR-1, AR-2, AR-3, AR-4 and AR-5 have the same cabinet - and also some policealarm models (for instance PR-9) with higher frequencies. See also different frequencies for the AR models.
Typo on first page of service manual, AM superheterodyne receiver has to be FM superheterodyne receiver.
