The Airline 62-418 is an AC operated 8 tube BC, Police and SW band receiver.
BC (528-1730 kHz), TROP (1710-5800 kHz) and SW (5.75-18.3 MHz) bands. 8 and 10 inch electro-dynamic speakers.
The model is made by Wells Gardner, showing here the "movie dial". There is a drum with 35mm film, imprinted with the dial scale and stations that are then projected onto the front dial glass and move from one side to the other as the drum is turned. Each of the three bands show a different color. The tuner offers a fine and coarse adjustment with a tuning eye. There is also dial indicated tone and volume controls.
