Information by guest James Douglas, San Francisco, USA about the MOPAR De Soto model 804: "The unit was called a MOPAR 804 by all the Chrysler Divisions. Due to a strike in 1948 there was only 5 months of production of the 1949 Desoto-Chrysler cars. In 1950 they changed the unit."
