A battery powered portable seven transistor radio covering MW (187-570 metres) and LW (1070-1900 metres) housed in a plastic case,. Sockets for car aerial and external loudspeaker or earphone. The same chassis is used in the Murphy B813A model. The Murphy B813L and Murphy B813AL models are similar but have an additional Radio Luxembourg preset button.
