The motor has speed control and automatic stop, and a sensitive pickup is used, which takes either metal or fibre needles.
The large cabinet designed by R.D. Russel is veneered in polished black Walnut and French Walnut and has a flush motor-board and a slightly inset lid for easy lifting.
