The NAD 3020A is 2 x 20 watt stereo hi-fi integrated amplifier with Soft Clipping, the second model in the long running production run of the NAD 3020 integrated stereo hi-fi amplifier. It has the same specification as the original NAD 3020 Series 20 Stereo Amplifier with minor circuit corrections and has additional MC cartridge input and a Mono button instead of Audio Muting. Early examples are marked 3020A Series 20 on the front, later just 3020A. Optional rack mount handles are available.
With RCA input sockets for Phono (MM or MC), Tuner and Aux, input/output RCA sockets and DIN socket for Tape, switches for MC/MM Selector and Soft Clipping (On/Off). Sockets for Pre-amp out and Normal-in connected with removable U shaped metal jumpers, and sockets for Lab-in (an alternative to the Normal-in socket with wideband frequency response). Connectors for one pair of loudspeakers and two AC outlets (not all models). Rotary controls for Bass, Treble, Balance and Volume, push buttons for Power, input selection (Aux, Tuner, Phono, Tape), Mono and Loudness. Power On pilot light and and 5 LED Power Meter indicators.
