  • Notes
  • This model was developed for workers and soldiers who were serving in remote areas and on islands. With this receiver they could listen to radio broadcasting in places where conventional commercial radio receivers performed poorly. For this reason, and its relatively high cost, this model was not available in consumer markets.

    It supports MW band (535-1605KHz) and 9 SW bands, respectively 1.6-3.2MHz, 3.2-4.2MHz, 4.2--5.6MHz, 5.6-7.4MHz, 7.4-9.7MHz, 9.7-12.8MHz, 12.8-16.8MHz, 16.8-22MHz, 22-26MHz.

    Sensitivity: MW 0.5mV/m, SW 50uV/m

    Selectivity: 36dB

    Noteworthy Technical features include:

    1. Cascade BJT amplifier at RF stage
    2. Ceramic filter included into IF stage to improve selectivity
    3. Carefully designed and deployed AGC mechanisms
    4. RF and IF stages powered with regulated power supply.

Three generations of this model were offered. The first generation is fully powered with batteries, without built-in AC/DC adapter board, so it has 14 transistors. The 2nd and 3rd generations can also be powered by a built-in AC/DC adapter board, and both them have 16 transistors. The 3rd generation has white switch knobs.
