The National NRCL receiver was dubbed a "special receiver" used as a monitor for the National NRCM Multi-Channel Diversity Receiver system. Its general outward appearance resembles the National NC-101X, which has a moveable coil catacomb.
The NRCL only appeared in the 1945 National Company Catalog.
